John Mark Hamilton, 62, returned to his creator on October 29th 2012. He was surrounded by his loving family in the comfort in the comfort of his home. John was strong and inspirational throughout his life and continued to be so during his courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Gale; daughter Bridget and her husband Kevin Hazel; daughter Amanda and her husband David Young; four grandchildren Lauren, Isabella, Chloe, Annalise; his brother Paul and wife Jann; and his loyal dog Roxy; . John graduated from ECU in 1973. He then began his career with Heilig Meyers as a credit manager. With over 30 years of commitment and dedication he retired as an executive. After retiring he looked forward to spending more time with his family and enjoying golf, fishing and the beach. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Pisgah UMC on Saturday Nov 3rd at 1:00pm.
